copyright

Copyright protects the particular way an article is written to describe an experiment and its results. The Journal of BioNano Aquatic Science and Technology (JBAST) is committed to safeguarding authors’ work and reputation, and it treats claims of infringement, plagiarism, ethical misconduct, and fraud with the utmost seriousness. JBAST is published under the terms of the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). Authors keep the copyright to their work, while granting the journal the right to publish it first in both online and print formats. The journal applies a restrictive, non-commercial license as follows:

Authors are encouraged to post and share their articles immediately after publication (for example, in institutional or public repositories or on personal websites). Authors may also make additional contractual agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the published work, as long as the original publication in this journal is properly acknowledged.
NC
NC (non-commercial): Users may not use the article for commercial purposes without the authors’ permission. At the same time, authors explicitly agree that their published article may be indexed worldwide in databases, repositories, and indexing services, even if those services are commercially operated. Authors also grant JBAST the explicit right to include the published articles in such databases, repositories, and indexing services. You can see examples of personal and commercial use on this link.
